Paul and Illyricum
Main Article Content
Abstract
many questions. How is Paul using this term - that is, what territory is he referring to? And is he saying that he has travelled into it or merely that he has travelled up to it? If he has been there, when did this occur? And how much of Illyricum is he likely to have seen? What reason(s) would he have had for going there? While certainty about these matters is unattainable, we stand to learn something of value by investigating them as carefully as we can.
