Abstract

The Acts of the Apostles is a book bursting with emotions. Surprisingly little, however, is said of the emotions of most of the main characters. Paul's emotions, though, are referred to at least thirteen times, and eleven different expressions are used. What are Paul's emotions in Acts, and what can they tell us about the relationship between him and Luke as the author, and possibly even about the nature of the account itself?
